 Innovative Benefit Consultants recently celebrated our 5 year anniversary and in the past 5 years we have grown to be one of the largest locally owned employee benefits firms in Siouxland. Our unparalled growth is attributed to our unrelenting focus on our partner clients and their employees. In addition to providing services that include brokering and consulting on group health insurance, life, dental, disability insurance, and long-term care policies we provide guidance on employee benefit compliance (healthcare reform, Mental Health Parity, COBRA, etc).
We work with a large number of fully insured clients but we also specialize in alternate funding arrangements such as minimum premium and self-funded plans. We even administer Section 125 (flex or cafetaria) plans and Section 105 (Healthcare Reimbursement Arrangements or HRA's) with most claims paid within 24 hours. As an independent broker, we have the advantage of shopping the various insurance carriers and TPAs to ensure the most competitive plan for our clients. In addition, we work with our clients to develop wellness and prevention initiatives with a focus on keeping employees healthy and health care costs down. Our Physicians Advocate program, an innovative and exclusive program provides physician’s assessments for the carriers, which also helps to lower health care costs for our clients. Stuart Lee, RHU, PAHM, owner and president of Innovative Benefit Consultants, has more than 19 years of experience in the health insurance and employee benefits business. Stuart is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and has been honored with the Golden Eagle award, an award only given to the top health insurance writers in the country. Danna Henningfeld is an account manager for IBC and focuses on customer service. She has 16 years of experience in the insurance industry, working 6 years in claims and customer service for an insurance carrier and 10 years as an account manager. Jacki Kilstrom is an account manager and also works with IBC Administrators on Sections 105 and 125 administration. Jacki has over 22 years of experience in employee benefits and insurance.
